Final collection for my BA in Shoes and Accessories Design at POLIMODA, Florence, 2012. Theme: Authenti-city and first impressions — a two-in-one, interpreted in two ways.
The starting point was the cover shoe, once worn as protection for the footwear underneath. Almost like a mask.
Pony fur and leather. An anecdote to the horse-drawn carriage, and to cow skin for those who worked the fields.
